Femme Forte
Femme Forte was designed as a way to sell products to women, that also help women. Femme Forte, is French for “Strong Woman.” I believe that everyone woman should feel strong and independent. As well as always feel safe, even with those closest to them.
This site was designed as a way to solve the problem of domestic abuse and help women.
Purpose and Goals
Femme Forte is a company dedicated to empowering women. It focuses on women helping women, and empowering their inner beauty and strength. Femme Forte sells beautiful handbags, totes, bracelets, and earrings for women between the ages of 17 and 25. The profits from these items go to shelters, counseling, and legal fees for battered women. Helping spread the word of what a healthy relationship is, and if you or someone you know is in an unhealthy one, how to go about handling it.

Lance Armstrong Quote Poster
Everyone has a quote or saying that they use as guidance. This quote by Lance Armstrong hits close to home for me. I wanted a way to look at it every day and feel inspired. That need resulted in me creating this poster.
My hope is that others will find this quote as powerful as I do and use it to help motivate them through hard times, and put a smile on their face when they decide to "Fight Like Hell".
A List Apart
This site is almost always right on top of what is new and current, and is a great informant of what is to come. I have their books about HTML5, CSS3, and Mobile First Design. They have a great way of explaining information in a easy to understand way.
Awwwards
This site is a great way to look for inspirational designs. When I get frustrated with design or look of a page, I go here for ideas. I like seeing how people use simple code solutions and make them to something elegant and beautiful.
One Page Love
This site is more fun for me than anything else. I love being able to play with all of the sites and see how they work. I am fascinated with parallax and how it is used on one page sites. One thing I would like to play with in the future.
Subtle Patterns
I am in love with this website. I love finding patterns for websites here to help inspire me on what I am working on. All of these patterns are beautifully subtle.
Tuts Plus
This site is a wonderful playground of information for all web designers and developers. It has tuts for Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as net plus which has coding tutorials. A wonderland for web nerds like me.
Web Monkey
I subscribe to web monkeys twitter feed and stay up to date with their information. They are a great resource to stay up today with browser changes, coding solutions, and different design treatments.
As you can see, I have many talents and skills. My true passion lies in development as opposed to design. I love the functionality of a website and think that the more unique and flawless experience the user has, the more they are willing to come back.
